ASUU STRIKE OR MENDING THE BROKEN UMBRELLA, WHICH ONE IS MORE IMPORTANT TO NIGERIA

It look like president Good luck's attention is now drifting away from the ailing striking higher institution, and totally focusing on the splinter drama of his party.
University lecturers are on industrial strike, for quite some times now, and we understand that, the negotiations is on deadlock, as no meaningful solution is attainable, while the longer the strike take the vulnerable many Nigerian youth will be.
Nigeria's educational system has been in a coma for a very long time, as both the teachers and students use only available and scarce resources ton get themselves an sound if all education. That is the story of public schools in Nigeria, where government is always in short of money for this important sector.
The recent industrial strike action by ASUU have cripple the already fragile education sector, and as we can see the GEJ government is no longer interested in settling the matter and difference amicably, but, the government enjoys deceiving Nigerians as to make us believe that, they are actually negotiating.
With the negotiation taking another contention, the government complaint of lack of funds to meet all the demands of the lecturers. And this is increasingly affecting the teaming young men and women who are now becoming nuisances in their various homes across the country. It of very important that the government bring to an end to this strike, so that our children can go back to classes.
But today i doubt it, if president Jonathan is actually in his utmost sense to go back to the table with ASUU, because of the unfolding situation in his party, the ruling PDP. The advent of the splinter group from the PDP is making even the economic continuance even thorny, for I can see the attention of Mr. President is totally carried away on how he can rally support behind his bags for his smooth return to office comes 2015.
Our children are crying and rotten at homes, this man is staging a election struggle between him and those who think they are also eligible to be in that office. I believe the ASUU negotiations will only resumes if there will be sanity in the PDP, for now, the president's mind is no longer there.
PDP rules Nigeria for almost 14 years, and they only bring backdrops and more poverty to the people.
In the other hand, ASUU should reconsider and take what can now be affordable, live sheath the sword till 2015, help Nigerians to regain there freedom, then the country will be better place to be. War against PDP is much important, and everybody must join the crusade, to emancipate the common man from the grief of feudalism and corrupt administration. Let us fight to bring back discipline to our society, so that we can bring back the lost glory to our faces and the faces the world.
