ZAINAB BABAN TAKKO THE AMAZON WOMAN OF BAUCHI LGA.

An amazon is a big, strong, warrior-like woman, someone who reminds you of the mythical Greek women-warriors, the Amazons. They were female warriors and hunters, known for their physical agility, strength, archery, riding skills, and the arts of combat. 

Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko is a woman that can be described as AMAZON woman, she possess all the qualities and what it takes to be, with her Physical agility she envelope everyone when in the field discharging her primary assignments, she is strong because even the men in her entourage struggles to catch up with her in inspection tours. 

It's been long in the political history of Bauchi Local Government to have in the limelight a woman of substance that withstand the odds of nay sayers to outperforms beyond everyone's expectations. Zainab Baban Takko has written her name in the history book to be the first woman in everything and she is making everyone proud. 

Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko is a dedicated public servant and the current Commissioner for Women Affairs, Child Development, and Social Welfare in Bauchi State. She has made significant contributions in various capacities, including as the Chairperson of the Bauchi Meat Factory, Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Caretaker Committee Chairperson of Bauchi Local Government Area. 

Throughout her career, Hajiya Zainab has been a champion of empowerment. She distributed over 50 motorcycles to youth and provided more than 300 women with business startup funds while serving as Chairperson of Bauchi LGA. She also supported farmers by distributing fertilizers and farming equipment. 

One of her notable achievements was revitalizing the primary healthcare facility located in Gwabba, Nasarawa Street, which was renamed in honor of her late father, Alhaji Baraya Baban Takko She also renovated two primary healthcare centers in Rijiyar Malam and Lushi, Birshi Ward, bringing them up to the highest standards. 

As Commissioner, she has continued her tradition of service, funding a program to feed 200 vulnerable individuals in Bauchi LGA, with her personal finances, as a gesture of gratitude to Allah (SWA) and to appreciate the unwavering support of the Executive Governor, His Excellency Senator Bala Mohammed. 

Hajiya Zainab Baban Takko is also a happily married woman, balancing her career with her family life while making lasting contributions to her community.

BAUCHI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA POLITICAL BACKWARDNESS AND THE NEED FOR A PROFICIENT REPRESENTATIVE IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY.

The argument is whether Bauchi Local Government today is ably represented at the National Assembly? Can we say yes if the constituency is fully represented? The answers to these questions are far from being correct, the LGA is not ably and firmly represented to harvest the ever yielding dividend of democracy, for Years, the so-called representatives have little or no impact on the constituents, with the exception of the past few, we are not getting the befitting representation we yearns for. 

Bauchi Local Government Federal Constituency is a strategic Constituency is among the populous and strategic due to diversity and rural settings that accounted 60% of it duellers. It also house the State capital the governance sit of power, that's makes the constituency important and strategic. Whoever is representing the constituency at the NASS must be resourceful, tactful, humble, resilience and above all fearless to subscribes for the constituents the National shares of the budgets. 

Our belief today is that, the Amazon woman can deliver in 2027 if totally supported. 

Bauchi LGA as we know it's a Constituency that has more natural resources, local Markets for grains and livestock, to mention but few, there is need for a resilient person to be in the Green Chamber to voice out the voices of the people from this great constituency. People are tired of sending snoozers that doze off and say nothing to make any difference for the people they are representing. There is need for a change in the political tide to say enough is enough, this time we need to have a vocal oratory to make our voice heard and to feel the presence of the FG infrastructure development, there need we send an AMAZON to make it happen. 

We can only achieve the height of greatness if we mould our interests to be one, the Youths and Women especially has a role to play in this struggle, Hajiya Zainab is one our own, she a resourcesful woman that understands the drill if giving a chance, she will definitely supercedes her predecessors in terms of quality representation in the Green Chamber.  The political atmosphere might not be wholesome favourable, but with the determination from our Women and Youths across the Constituency, I believe Zainab Baban Takko will be considered for a flag bearer title in the State ruling PDP to bring more for her people from the National budget comes 2027. 

My advice for the women and Youths if Bauchi Local Government is, stand firm and strong, support Competency and we shall see the dividend of Democracy live and direct.
