MUSA AZARE: IN BLOWING THE TRUMPET OF CONFIDENCE (1)
We have to speak boastfully about Honourable Musa Azare's achievements that subsequently come as a blessing to him the people and the vicinity he lives in, first of all as PDP's Governor Sen. Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir (Kauran Bauchi) transition Committee member the appointment that paved ways for all the future engagements in recent Bauchi State. Musa Azare's workaholic ability make him an outstanding gem that made His Excellency to appointed him into Bauchi State assets and funds recovery committee the committee was tasked to recovered assets and funds that were misappropriated misallocated and mismanaged by the predecessor governments an assets and funds that were supposed to be for the people not for personal gains. His Excellency the governor also appointed him as member, Bauchi State administration committee of enquiry into land disputes between herders and farmers, the committee that brought a total sanity into the activities of herders along the country sides of farmers in Bauchi State, to live in hermony and peace, Malam Musa Azare works diligently with a spacious outstanding service that earned him the utmost respect from His Excellency the Governor, that accomplishments grows to virtually good seedlings of promotion as Governor Bala appointed him his Senior Special Assistant on Projects Monitoring, the (Duba Garin Gwamna) as we pondly called him, the appointment that later get promoted to Special Adviser Projects Monitoring (Cabinet position) a full member of the State Executive council.
During his reign as Senior Special Assistant as well as Special Adviser Projects Monitoring, he discharged his duty without fear or favour, an unbiased monitoring that ensured due diligence and concurrent followership of the master plan of all the projects embarked upon by the KAURAN Bauchi administration, Musa Azare was everywhere to monitor, assess and scored the projects, to make sure it meet the standard of His Excellency the Governor. The records of his activity will be captured to make a documentary of it as the finest S.A. ever to hold such office in the history of BAUCHI State.
As Caretaker committee chairman of Katagum Local Government, Bauchi State. People cannot be silent when the tremendous achievements are being buried by envious unscrupulous elements that solely and directly benefited by the good gestures of this gentleman, Musa Azare refused to blow his own trumpet but those of us that are in the know cannot declined to speak for the World to know the giant stride that has been made in irdetto bring good governance and dividend of democracy to the people of Bauchi State and Katagum LGA in particular.
Only people like me can find the confidence to say to the world that 'Musa AZARE has done well. He is skilled, knowledgeable, capable, tenacious, bold, creative' etc. Because If we don't let others know, then his antagonists will control the field to outshine his performances. A teacher, technocrat cum politician Musa Azare has been in the forefront of many battles to survive the odds as activist that fight against inhumane treatment of freedom of expression, excessive corruption and maladministration that once threatened his life in the hand of former governor of Bauchi State.
TEACHER TURNED POLITICIAN/TECHNOCRAT
Lyndon Johnson loved being a teacher, and he learned a great deal from his young students in Cotulla, Texas. Giving students like them the path to education was his way of giving back to the society. Like President Johnson like Musa Azare who spent most of his early life mentoring young people, dedication to impacting more and invested in the Younger generation. Perhaps being a teacher beget one with a natural ability to practice politics, school system to some people does not mount to totalitarianism per say, but an aspect of democracy that allows a free interaction between teachers and students.
His reign as CTC Katagum was super good, his tenure witnessed more inflows of projects that touched the lives of the people. Rural roads development, provisions of pipeborne water, education development as well as poverty alleviation for vulnerable people, Musa Azare engineered the executions of capital project in the Local Government by the State. Paid scholarship to outstanding Students from the Local Government, Healthcare facilities were not left out the gesture, drugs for less privileges, working conditions for community health workers to mentioned but few.
It was a blissful tenure that make people to have missed him after he left. Empowering Youth to acquired skills through ICT to be self reliant and self sufficient. Many Youth from Katagum Local Government have benefited from this empowerment.
Muttaka Bilyaminu an ALMAJIRI boy that was beaten, maltreated and molested by his Tsangaya teacher, incident that draws the attention of many people on social media, was rescued too by Honourable Musa Azare, not all that, he ensured that Muttaka got enlisted to non fatigue way of acquiring Qur'anic memorization knowledge, Musa Azare awarded Muttaka with a scholarship to get integrated with both Western and Qur'anic education to be better human in his life, such a beautiful person can do more if he get more opportunities in Power.
Honourable Musa Azare is a compassionate leader, he takes the welfare of the people seriously, that's why he become attached to whatever calamity that befalls his people, in August, 2024 there was heavy flooding that nearly submerged many villages and towns across the Northern States, Katagum inclusive 18 Communities were affected and as their leader, he wasn't relented to get them the much needed succour, relief materials were distributed to the affected people. From the coffers of the LG ₦1m was released for that purpose in addition to the contribution from the State government and the Emirate council.
The New AZARE Cemetery was also developed, where as CTC he facilitate the construction of feeder road that will make the cemetery accessible to people during funerals services.
There are more to write about the journey of this Honourable gentleman, as teacher, Technocrat as well as a politician. In the Next segment of this write up, we will reveal more of the achievements as Special Adviser Projects Monitoring as well as CTC KATAGUM LGA .
