Even when he was in the middle of his career, people were aspiring for him to one day take the stewardship of this great State, Bauchi State is always bin dare need of a Golden pilot with a golden compass to compassionately steers the drive of the State. Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar will be the right carrier of this gigantiuan responsibility. The man with a giant shoulder for all the people to lean on. SBA has a stockpile of legacy to leave if giving a chance to serve.
Sadique Baba Abubakar was born on April 8, 1960 in Azare, Bauchi State. He had his primary education at St Paul's Primary School Bauchi from 1967 to 1973 and for his secondary education, he attended Government Secondary School, Bauchi.
Air Marshal Abubakar joined the Nigerian Air Force as a member of Cadet Military Training Course (CMTC 5) in November 1979.
He has a Diploma in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree (second class upper division) in political science. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Studies from University of Ibadan. To add a grown on his head, Sadique Abubakar has a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Helicopters with Instrument Rating and has flown a total of 7 aircraft types: Bulldog, Piper Warrior, Enstrom, Bell 206, BO-105, Mi-35P and Mi-17.
Abubakar's previous appointments include Chief of Standards and Evaluation, NAF Headquarters, Chief of Defence Communications and Air Officer Commanding, NAF Training Command. He served as Chief of Administration, NAF Headquarters prior to his appointment as Chief of Air Staff.
BECKONED TO SERVE
After retirement from active service on January 26th, 2021, different groups of patriotic indigents of BAUCHI STATE keep pounding a pressure on the retired Soldier to come and serve in the governor capacity, people are urging him to volunteer and properly save the State from derailing and bring her back on tracks. Every pilot with a smartly experience and humongous hours of flying will not be deterr by the excesses of problems he may face, Sadique Abubakar has overcomes many turbulence, killer Votex and unbearable windshare to steer an aircraft, Pilot Bauchi State will never be a big deal, hence the turbulence on teresterial is not as much a predator than the celestial one.
The antecedent of Air Marshal cannot be overemphasize, his extent of reformation of the Nigeria AirForce has nothing to match with, compare to the state of devay he met the Force in 2015. Bauchi will need a builder in him, someone with a better idea and staunch ability to take a political stance. Many of us believe, Sadique Abubakar has all what it takes to be the next governor of Bauchi State, Which I believe, Allah in His infinite Marcy will grant the wishes of the people.
Many articles has been literally written on the achievements of this gentleman while being the NIGERIA'S AirForce Chief, he need no any cajoling to sell him to people, I believe a lot will be drive out if this Gentleman become the Governor of Bauchi State.
Today the tide is turn and the people are rallying behind this brave son of the soil to take the mandate be the flag bearer for 2023. Our believe in his capacity make us to understand that he will be best for the job. SBA has a quality of leadership, he can steer Bauchi State well and make a tremendous change in the business of governance. With experience and his international connection, we believe SBA can bring more benefits to our dear State.
SBA will stabilises the economy of the people, make more rooms for more and equal development, not a selective one.
We believe he has more to offer in terms of education, security, agriculture and poverty alleviation. In 2023, the people of Bauchi State need to be more vigilant to make it a history. SBA is a bridge builder, a GOLDEN PILOT WITH GOLDEN COMPASS.
