2023 AND THE RACE FOR PRESIDENCY

Already discourses has started and the waters are being stire to create more alarming discordance between the various sections of the country.

Already, the ethnic jingoist have started trumpeting their arrays and championing their cause to have the Presidency to themselves.
There is also some gongs from the Separatist promoters, the IPOBS and their usual cacophony, have encapsulated the SE infesting more people to delve into campaign of calumy against a sole enemy, the North. Meanwhile one ritualist that is now throwing himself as imposed Yoruba local champion is singing the rhetoric of war for intimidation.

Every jargon of threats is pour on the Northerners, fingering hatred directed at the North as if the Northerners are not also prime victims of this miscarriage amalgamation called NIGERIA.

It all begun in 1966, January 15th as the beginning of the end to a fragilic ailing marriage of people with detrimental motive as one country, that was sewn in 1914.
The Igbos were fingered for a wipe out coup against some people from one section of the country. I've read many books, different accounts as perceived by many authorities on the NIGERIA'S beginning, the colonial era, the amalgamation era, pre-independance to Post-independance, many opinions we're and still being published to justify the support or against the coup and counter coup that plunged Nigeria into the messy muddy water of ethnic profiling, sectionalism and nepotism that wallows us today. Even those of us that were not presence at the time has an account to reveals.  Some people created the monster and left us to ripe it. And NIGERIANS will never learn from the not distant history, our African neighbors the Rwandans, that followed egos and instigates ethnic cleansing war against themselves, that saw a wipe out of more than 900,000 people in just 3 days. Today Rwanda is healing from that heinous barbarism.

Former adviser to the Former President GEJ made a revealing post on his Facebook, lamenting the advocacy for the Igbo Presidency in 2023. Dr. Doyin Okupe opined that, if the Igbos need Presidency in 2023, they should apologize to the Northerners, with that, they may be considered by the North to have their backing for the presidency, Okupe urged the Igbos to emulate Yorubas and side with the North to have the mandate.
The post didn't goes well with many Igbos and their apologist, they tear the former adviser from head to toe and compelled him to revisit many of his Statement, and redress his asking for Igbos to apologize to NORTH. Okupe as I learned did his statement in satirical expression, a figure of speech that nearly burries him.

The NIGERIA'S Social Media world is full of hatred, in fact if  you want to know how much this country is divided along ethnic divide, come to social media. It is glaringly clear that we hate each other so much that we don't see anything good from among ourselves. Tribalism has eaten up the soul of many of us, Political nepotism has been enshrined into our intellect and give births to killing, profiling one ethnic group and the other.
Corruption has turn Nigerians mad, keep us apart without seeing anything good from among ourselves. Tolerance is absent, trust is zero and patriotism is only on a palate.
Nigeria has suffered, and still suffering from the misdeed of many of us. Can we correct that?
