THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE POOR AND RICH NATIONS IS NOT THE AGE OF THE NATION

This can be demonstrated by countries like India and Egypt, which are more than 2000 years old and are still poor countries.    On the other hand, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, which 150 years back were insignificant, today are developed and rich countries. The difference between the poor and rich nation does not also depend on the available natural resources. Japan has limited territory, 80%  mountainous, unsuitable for agriculture or farming, but is the third in worlds economy. The country is like an immense floating factory, importing raw material from the whole world and exporting manufactured products. Second example is Switzerland, it does not grow cocoa but produces the best chocolates in the world. In her small territory she rears animals and cultivates the land only for four month in a year, nevertheless manufactures the best milk products. A small country which is an image of security which has made it the strongest world bank. Executives from rich c...

THE LINGERING ODYSSEY OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN OUR STATES

Image
What makes real teaching and learning process?  What are the secrets of having a sound knowledge? Why is it today,  or for many years public schools performs very low,  below average? Why is it that, teachers in public schools are always impoverish,  wishing to quit at any given time? Why is it that,  the instructions in private schools are better than the public schools despite a wide disparity IN wages and salaries.  Public schools teachers collect more than the private schools teachers,  but yet the private schools students score more or perform better than the public schools students? The intricacies started with an arguable neglect,  from the authority of course,  while the free market economy was introduced to make a freedom of wealth generation and guise under the pretense of making more unto oneself. Teachers are the builders of the future,  they installed on an unquestionable morality in our probably clean slate br...

ON BAUCHI STATE ADOPTION OF THE (TSA) POLICY WILL BE WEIGHTY FOR REVENUE CONSOLIDATION AND EXCHEQUER.

Image
Capitalist always adopted this philosophy of  "From each according to your ability,  to each according to your productivity". Acquisition of wealth is an extra effort as such then you have to have extra force to be able to make it in life. Such philosophy can be adoptable IN to any background,  being it individual or State,  and the results will be technically helpful because we are in a condition of no return. Since January 2016, Bauchi State is listed among the States that are facing a sort of financial problems which even resulted to salary backlog.  Civil Servants and pensioners owing some months for salaries and pensions, thank God the backlog is becoming history now hoping to see the lasting solutions to this salary issues. My submission is not about what,  but it is about how our state can be resolute and have a focus on any thrift endeavor to consolidate monetary discipline.  Bauchi State is urgently needing a monetary policy that would work...

A CHAMELEON TRAMP

Image
Remarkably on the 29th of May,  2015 His Excellency Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar Esq, together with his Deputy Engr. Nuhu Gidado were sworn in as Governor of BAUCHI State and Deputy governor respectively. For the umpteenth time,  we have been trying to enlighten the people the ordeal on which the beginning of this administration found itself and the brigade of approaches the government embarked upon to sanitizes the process and the those who cares to be helpful have done a great deal to lend the hands of friendship. Those who oppose the system are also brandishing  venoms of hatred to incitement of people against the slow and steady ratification of the already melted system,   because every opposition is an opportunity for redress. But certainly the kind of opposition we are witnessing IN Bauchi State is an apex of blind hatred and ostensive volatile politics. On the glorious moment we may wish to directly have the audience of those who chose to care,...

ON A MILESTONE OF SUCCESS

Why there are many degree graduates with a few jobs position to fill in? This has been the question ask by everyone over the years,  on the basis of economic crash and laziness in self reliance. Many people become demoralise after getting out of university,  polytechnic and or Colleges but could not find a job to cater for life. The extent of joblessness among the younger generation is not a common venom,  it's a gargantuan phenomenon that must be curtail to have a secure and peaceful country.  Job creation,  must be a priority of the Government,  to maintain the balance of poverty reduction and many more. Nigeria have an overblotted population, the largest in the Black African continent, but the cancer of corruption keep the country lingering among its peers in the corridor.of struggling to survive by the citizens and that has been the ongoing issue until 29th May, 2015. When the government elected by popular majority was sworn in to power the already dem...

IT'S NO LONGER CHRISTMAS IN DUBAI

Image
Many Nigerians are amongst the craziest copycats in the world. They move in droves in the direction of advertised success even if unprepared for or unbefitting of it. They love to trend the inane even if it makes them appear insane. They love the luxuries of life even if they have to live a lie. Have you noticed a trend in the last few years where the country’s struggling middle class elite virtually empties into Dubai for the Christmas and New Year festivities? Everybody who is an aspiring somebody in society somehow saunters into the glitz and glamour of the glorious showcase put up by Dubai to attract the world to it at Christmas. But the attraction to Dubai has been for long and it is beyond the colours of Christmas and magnificent fireworks of New Year’s Eve. Hitherto, a privileged set of Nigerians has found it a destination for stacking wealth and trading influence. With a booming property market and upscale commercial capacities, Dubai became (and still is) some inve...
